Critical AI started with a simple frustration: hiring for cyber security in Australia is too slow, too generic and too easy to game. We built a recruitment practice and an AI interview platform to fix that. AI assists the search and the first interview. A person makes every decision.

We use AI where it is strong: searching widely, asking every candidate the same fair questions, and spotting signals people miss. We keep people where they matter: judgement, relationships and every decision about someone's career.

Led by a cyber security and GRC practitioner.
Critical AI was founded by Muhammad Anwar, a cyber security and GRC consultant who works with Australian organisations on security assurance and AI governance. That practitioner background shapes how we screen candidates and how we built Critical Hive.
