CRITICAL HIVE Skills passport

Interview once. Find them again.

Every scored interview builds a passport of skills with the evidence and date behind each one. When a new role opens, search the people you have already interviewed, but only those who agreed to be considered. Candidates can also share a summary of their own skills. AI assists. A person decides.

  • Consent first
  • Evidence and dates
  • Stale scores flagged
  • Candidate-controlled sharing

01 For recruiters

A talent pool built from evidence, not résumés.

Verified skills, with evidence

For each skill: latest, best and average score, when it was last assessed, and a word-for-word quote from the answer, with the role it came from.

Skills search

Choose the skills a new role needs and the minimum score for each. People are ranked by how many they meet, and current scores outrank stale ones.

Invite to a role

Create an invitation on a role straight from a match. You review it and send the email from the role page, so nothing goes out automatically.

Sensible defaults

People you declined and anyone with a high-risk integrity signal are hidden unless you choose to show them, and the passport flags integrity concerns before you rely on a score.

A shared skills language

Fourteen common cyber and security skills line up across different rubrics. Anything unrecognised stays as its own skill.

Honest ageing

Scores older than 12 months are marked stale. They can still qualify someone, but never outrank a current score.

02 Consent decides what is reusable

The candidate's yes comes first.

An interview taken for one role is not automatically available for another.

  • At the end of the interview candidates are asked, optionally, whether to keep their results for future roles at that employer. It is unticked by default and does not affect their application
  • Only agreeing candidates appear in search or in other roles' passports. Their own interview always stays with its role
  • A recruiter can withdraw reuse when a candidate asks. A recruiter cannot grant it for them
  • Searches report how many interviews were excluded for lack of consent
  • Choices and searches are in the audit log, without email addresses
  • Retention still applies. Consent does not extend how long data is kept

LIMITS, STATED PLAINLY

A passport covers one workspace. It reflects skills assessed in an AI interview and scored on what the candidate said. It is not a hiring recommendation, a reference or a qualification, and Critical Hive does not independently verify the claims behind the answers.

03 For candidates

A passport the candidate owns.

Optional, and off until the employer turns it on in Settings.

  1. Choose what to show

After the interview the candidate sees their skills and picks which to include. Short quotes from their answers are off unless they tick them.

  2. Pick how long

The link stays active for 30, 90 or 365 days. They can update it, or switch it off at any time.

  3. Share a link

The page shows their name, the role and employer, the chosen skills with scores, a how-to-read note and a reference code. It carries a no-index header, and an expired or switched-off link looks the same as one that never existed.

  4. See how it's used

The candidate can see how many times the link was opened, but not who opened it. The employer can see that it was shared, and how often, but not who looked.

NEVER INCLUDED

The overall score, the AI's recommendation or summary, the employer's decision or notes, integrity signals, the interview questions, the transcript, the candidate's email address and any photos, whatever the candidate chooses. Links are long random tokens; only a hash is used for lookup and the token is stored encrypted. If the employer switches the feature off, every existing link stops working.

04 FAQ

Skills passports, answered.

Related: compliance & data retention.

Can we reuse a candidate's interview for a different role?

Only if they agreed. At the end of the interview candidates are asked, optionally and unticked by default, whether to keep their results for future roles at that employer. Only people who said yes appear in skills search or in other roles' passport views. Their own interview always stays visible to the role it was for.

Can a recruiter give consent for a candidate?

No. A recruiter can withdraw reuse, for example when a candidate asks, but cannot grant it. Searches also tell you how many past interviews were left out because the candidate did not agree.

How are skills from different interviews compared?

Skills from different rubrics are mapped onto a shared set, so “Incident triage & response” and “IR” both count as incident response. Anything we don't recognise stays as its own skill rather than being forced into a category.

What about old scores?

Scores older than 12 months are marked stale. A stale score can still qualify a person, but it never ranks above a current one, and the search shows which of the matched skills are stale.

What can a candidate share from their own passport?

When an employer switches the feature on (it is off by default), a candidate can publish a link to a summary of their own skills from that interview. They choose which skills appear, whether short quotes from their answers are included, and how long the link lasts. They can see how many times it was opened and switch it off at any time.

What is never in a shared passport?

The overall score, the AI's recommendation or summary, the employer's decision or notes, integrity signals, the interview questions, the transcript, the candidate's email address and any photos. These are excluded whatever the candidate chooses.

Does a passport prove a candidate's skills?

No. It shows skills assessed in a structured AI interview, scored on what the candidate said, with a person deciding the hiring outcome. Critical Hive does not independently verify what the candidate said, and the page says so.

Can a passport be shared across employers?

Each passport covers one interview with one employer. Combining a person's results across employers would need their consent at each one, so it is not built.
